Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in lighting technology, lighting design, and special topics in areas of expertise.
  • Serve as lighting supervisor and master electrician for season of four mainstage shows and two dance concerts.
  • Aid in the recruitment efforts of the Design & Technology area.


Required Qualifications

  • MFA in Lighting Design or related theatre design field


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching lighting design and lighting technology.
  • Experiencing mentoring undergraduate designers.
  • Strong secondary area of emphasis in design/technology (scenery, projections,new media).
