Job Summary The Department of Theatre Arts & Dance in the College of Liberal Arts, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice, Academic Professional Track (formerly NTT).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Teach courses in lighting technology, lighting design, and special topics in areas of expertise.
- Serve as lighting supervisor and master electrician for season of four mainstage shows and two dance concerts.
- Aid in the recruitment efforts of the Design & Technology area.
Required Qualifications - MFA in Lighting Design or related theatre design field
Preferred Qualifications - Experience teaching lighting design and lighting technology.
- Experiencing mentoring undergraduate designers.
- Strong secondary area of emphasis in design/technology (scenery, projections,new media).
