Blue Steel Auto School (BSAS) is dedicated to transforming lives within the community and the world through Driving Training.

We are dedicated to addressing the current demands for licensed drivers by providing superior instruction to our students.

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Valid US driver's license for at least 2 years (Required)
• Bilingual Preferred (Spanish & English)
• Outstanding driving record
• Familiar with New York State driving traffic rules and regulations
• Patient
• Excellent people skills

Duties:

• Teach beginners and advanced students how to drive
• Teach basic mechanical operation of vehicle
• Teach safe driving techniques (parallel parking, 3 point turn etc)
• Escort students to and from DMV Road Test sites
• Communicate with staff at the office to ensure smooth operation

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

• Jamaica, NY 11432: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
